What does “Sanïndou” mean?
“Sanïndou” is a combination of Mandingo words “sanin,” meaning gold, and “dou” meaning ground or root.
“Sanïndou,” essentially means golden root in Mandingo. It pays homage to our former name, Golden Roots Essentials, and reflects our dedication to the African continent, which we recognize as the root, rich of minerals and botanicals—essentials used by our ancestors in their holistic beauty rituals. What is the Foo: African Net Exfoliater and where is it from?
A Foo, also known as a African Net Exfoliater, is a bath tool that have been used throughout west Africa for centuries upon centuries to cleanse and exfoliate skin. It is a unique lattice netted nylon loffah that is used in conjunction with a cleanser to clean the skin. Unlike most other loofahs, it is quick drying due to it netted nature and does not harbor bacteria, as it doesn’t store water.
How often should the Foo: African Net Exfoliating Sponge be replaced?
We recommend replacing your Foo every 8-12 months or upon recognizing dullness in the latticed nets.
Can I machine wash and dry my Foo: African Net Exfoliating Sponge?
Yes, you can. Our Foos are machine washable and dry-able. However, we don’t deem it necessary, as it is anti-bacteria.

Where does Sanïndou currently ship to?
We currently ship, via USPS and UPS, to all 50 states within the United States, in addition to U.S territories. We currently do not offer international shipping outside of the United States but are working on offering worldwide shipping very soon.
What are the shipping charges?
Standard shipping cost $5.95 and applies to orders with a subtotal less than $50 . All orders over $50 are eligible for free shipping using the code: FREESHIP on checkout page.
How can I track my order?
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track your order via email or the carrier's site.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Delivery times vary depending on your location. Please refer to the estimated delivery timeframe provided during the checkout process and the carrier-provided date for a more specified date.
Please ensure that you provide the correct address, as shipping fees are non-refundable in the event of a returned shipment due to an incorrect address.

Can I change my delivery address after placing an order?
Unfortunately, we cannot change delivery addresses once an order is placed. Please double-check your address before confirming your purchase.
My package is delayed. What should I do?
We apologize for any delays. Please use the tracking information provided to monitor the status of your shipment. If you encounter issues, please contact the carrier directly for assistance, as they handle all delivery logistics.

Does Sanïndou accept returns?
Due to the nature of our personal care products, we do not accept returns. All sales are final.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact our customer support team within 24 hours of the order delivery at sanindou.cs@gmail.com with photos of the product and packaging. We will work with you to find a satisfactory solution.
Can I modify or cancel my order?
To modify an order, please contact us here within an hour of placing your order. While we cannot guarantee any modifications, we will try our best to accommodate.
To cancel an order please reach out to us within 2 hours after placing your order. We strive for speedy delivery times, so to cancel an order please reach out promptly within the listed timeframe. If the package has not shipped, we maybe able to cancel the order. Please review your order carefully before confirming your purchase.
My product is defective. What should I do?
